Furniture Description:
Customer wanted a custom show room shelfs for their material catalogs. Challenge here was to match existing cabinetry style, design and material. The location for this piece on their showroom floor was also a limited space.

Stroheim and Romann is a company that does extremely well with their textiles and interior design. This essentially became a design piece for a designer and the style needed to be exact to their current settings. With that level of detail required, the customer and I worked to make several sketches and mock ups of their shelves.

The entire unit is actually tapered from the sides where the top is wider than the bottom, AND the shelves are adjustable. The color in this piece had to be worked and matched perfectly without compromising the grain of the wood.

Customer was very pleased with the results, I was pleased that I made another designer happy, and the custom shelves definitely are happy in their new home.
