Furniture Description:
Interior designer called and needed a custom buffet top to meet their design needs. Amy, from AVA Designs described what she needed and we made some sketches and plans with design and materials in mind. Once Amy approved the design and materials, I started work on the family’s new Texas Buffet.

The table top is 4 feet by 12 feet and made to match the chairs that the family had liked. Rustic and simple and complimentary of the chairs is exactly what the family wanted. The buffet has a Texas star carved into the door panels, as it is carved into the chairs already.

Material is one and one half inch thick walnut cut locally and purchased from a sawmill in Oklahoma. The surface is hand planed. These pieces have a custom hand made feel and look and they are a very distinctive looking set, fitting right in to the family’s home.
